Notting Gals

We had the best time at Nottinghill Carnival. There's something about dancing in the streets that made us go a little wild! Here's our top tips to survive the carnival madness.

1. Wear lots of glitter. You can never wear too much glitter!

2. Comfy trainers. If you're up for dancing around all day you're going to wish you had your fav pair of Adidas on.

3. Get there early. It gets super busy and you'll want to secure the best spot to view the parade.

4. Follow a float. We had so much fun dancing behind the float. The music is loud and you can dance around with all the performers.

5. Find a house party. The floats finish at 8.30 so you'll definitely want to find somewhere close by to carry on the party.

AW15 Best Bits So Far

As summer seems to be slowly disappearing, we're cheering ourselves up by starting the search for our winter wardrobes.

Keep hold of your flared jeans as the 70's trend is still going strong, mixed with Heritage influences we love the chocolate browns, burgundy and rust tones. Textures and trims are key with Suede, PU and fringing. For prints think Boho paisleys with pops of mustard.

These are the best bits we have our eye on for next pay day, that won't break the bank.

Quench The Trench Trend

My heart longs for the sleek tailored lines of Burberry in luxurious shades of camel suede but my one look at my bank balance sends those dreams plummeting to the ground.
But don't weep into your empty purse just yet...
With AW15 coming round fast we've done some digging and found some surprisingly perfect alternatives.
The suede trench is a great transitional jacket and fits right into the 70's trend that continues into next season.

Fringe Frustration

I have been having stress finding the perfect Fringe Jacket! I'm all for a summer festival jacket, but if you are dishing out the dollar for a jacket, dont you want it to last? We want a transitional fringe jacket that we can wear in autumn with a jumper, jeans and boots. Ive been scouring the internet for the past week. Ive barely done any work. Honestly I've become obsessed. These are my top picks of the best featuring Emily in her Primark steal jacket and Topshop Orange Tunic..
